This could be a difficult time in history to be the dreamer, the creator, the girl walking on the edge of a new concept or the wild eyed optimist that has that new idea. There are too many people trying to put the obstacles in your path "just because." There are hoards of folks on the news telling you that this is a bad time to break out and try something new as money is tight and no one is spending.
Just remember Tom Petty and one of my favorite tunes..."I Won't Back Down."
Let it be the theme song in your mind and play it loud. If you have something you need to try, don't back down!

Where did the time go?
I had a frightening realization today....somehow 20 years slipped by and I hardly noticed.
Time is the one great equalizer it does not matter if you are Bill Gates or Bill Clinton, George Clooney or George Jefferson we all still get 24 hours a day. What you do with it makes all the difference in the world.
Make the most of it, don't save your best work for someday later, give your best right now and again tomorrow and in 20 years you will feel a lot better about life.

Fresh Start!
I hear this term used and overused. We all want that feeling of a fresh start, the Fall, the New Year, the start of a new financial year...it all gives us that sense of a fresh start. The key is not to waste that fresh start, it is easy to have the meetings, everyone walks away feeling reinvigorated and ready for a big push and a week later we are all back to the same bad habits.
If you need the feeling of a fresh start, have the meeting, cut the cake and start at page one, however you will feel a lot better about your plans 6 months from now if instead you simply start doing those hard chores, those annoying tasks, and turn them into habits.
As someone once said "Bad habits are easy to make but hard to live with while good habits are hard to make but easy to live with."
So go ahead and start NOW!
